Say yes to free lung screening!
There's a new way to find lung cancer early – the new National Lung Cancer Screening Program!
If you're an LGBTQ+ person aged 50 to 70 and have a smoking history, you may be eligible for the free scan.
The scan is quick, safe and looks for early signs of lung cancer, when it's easier to treat. When found early, over 65% of lung cancers can be successfully treated.
It's good to know: You don't have to feel sick or quit smoking to have the scan.
This scan isn’t about making you quit - it’s about giving you more healthy years to thrive, be fabulous, and spend with your chosen family, friends, and loved ones.
If you think you might be eligible, ask your doctor or healthcare provider about lung screening. It's good to know!
