• There's a new National Lung Cancer Screening Program. 
• Lung screening looks for lung cancer in the early stages, before symptoms start. The lung scan is safe, quick and it could save your life. 
• The scan is free if you are eligible, and you have a green or blue Medicare card.  
• You don’t need to feel sick to screen. 
• Lung screening can help you stay healthy. 
• Lung screening is an important way you can look after yourself and be there for your family in the future.  
• When found early, more than 65% of lung cancers can be successfully treated. 
• If you're aged 50-70 and have a smoking history, you may be eligible. 
• Eligible people can have a free lung scan every 2 years. 
• Lung screening could give you more healthy years to spend with your loved ones. 
• Ask your doctor or healthcare provider about lung cancer screening. 
• If you need an interpreter at your appointment, ask your clinic about this when you are booking.
